The country calling code for Kosovo is +383. Kosovo received a new country code as a result of the 2013 Brussels Agreement signed by the governments of Serbia and Kosovo.〔(Seeking EU talks, Serbia cedes ground on Kosovo phone code ), Reuters, 9 September, 2013.〕 The Republic of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008, and its official country code was initially expected to become effective on January 1, 2015 but it was postponed to the finalization of the agreement in late August 2015.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://eeas.europa.eu/statements-eeas/2015/150825_02_en.htm )〕 ==History== Following the breakup of the SFR Yugoslavia in 1992, which had +38 as country code, Kosovo used the code +381, which was granted to FR Yugoslavia and later used by Serbia.
